At Montecatini, we accept patients who meet the following admissions criteria:
- Ambulatory females, ages 16 and older
- Those who meet criteria for a DSM IV TR eating disorder diagnosis
- Willing to voluntarily enter treatment
- Reasonably medically stable
We are unable to admit patients who have active psychosis or active suicidal ideation; however, passive suicidal ideation is not a barrier to admission.
Montecatini asks our prospective patients to complete a thorough pre-admission. We are able to provide patients with substance abuse treatment needs appropriate therapeutic services.
Montecatini is CARF-accredited and adheres to the APA (American Psychiatric Association) Levels of Care Guidelines for the Treatment of Patients with Eating Disorders. We accept patients appropriate for care, and will make referrals based on necessary criteria if the level of care needs change during the course of treatment. We make every effort to locate appropriate, affordable, and geographically reasonable referrals.
At Montecatini we work with many insurance providers and bill insurance directly for our services when possible. We also accept self-paying patients but are unable to accept Medicare, Medicaid or state/county funding.
